Client: A global leader in Investment Banking
Brief: Feasibility study and end-to-end delivery of an enterprise storage platform

The client made the decision to migrate to a Storage Area Network (SAN) infrastructure, and required commercial guidance in the approach. Headlogic was engaged to provide an initial study into the licencing and support implications of such a move, and to conduct all 3rd party interactions leading to award of contract. Best practice was applied to the engagement, along with achieving best price and most favourable terms.

Client: A large fund management company
Brief: Analysis, tender and process re-architecting of mobility services

The client used a third party supplier to manage it's mobile services, which included mobile voice, Blackberry and 3G data cards for laptops. There were issues around inventory management, and the monthly bills were very high.

Using expert knowledge in the mobile marketplace, Headlogic was able to analyse various sources of data to ascertain both operational and commercial inefficiencies.

Recommendations were made to bring the management of mobile services in-house, design and implement control procedures, and tender the network supplier. The net result was a superior service model, and an annual saving on mobile costs of 60%.

Client: A large investment bank
Brief: Risk analysis and commercial assessment of IT contracts

The client had approximately 500 3rd party supplier contracts, ranging from basic software licence agreements, to complex supply agreements encompassing contractor resources.

Headlogic conducted, in conjunction with the in-house legal counsel, a commercial review of these agreements, based on risk and price.

Client: A Niche Real Estate Consultancy
Brief: Advise approach towards acquisition and management of a new IT infrastructure

The client presented Headlogic with a budget and very loose requirements for their IT office relocation, relying heavily on resellers for their cost expectations. Headlogic provided an impartial review of the plans, budget and intended supplier base, and recommendations were subsequently implemented.
